SUMMERVILLE, SC, UNITED STATES, September 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Summerville Volleyball Club, a youth volleyball organization offering training, lessons, camps, open gyms, and competitive team opportunities, has been named a 2026 Best of South Carolina Award winner. The recognition comes just one year after the club opened on June 1, 2026, marking a strong start for a program already building momentum in the local volleyball community.
Summerville Volleyball Club was created to give young athletes a place to learn the game, strengthen their skills, and grow through structured coaching and competition. The club offers youth volleyball clinics, small group volleyball lessons, private lessons, volleyball camps, open gyms, and prospect clinics, serving players at different ages and stages of development.
Its first year of travel club teams showed just how quickly the program has taken shape. Each of the club’s four teams won at least one gold bracket tournament title, and together they finished with a combined 112-54 record across eight tournaments. Every team ended the season with a winning record, placed in the top three at least four times, and finished ranked in the top 40 in the Palmetto Region.
