Yendo Appoints Former Capchase and MoneyLion Executive as General Counsel

Yendo, the financial technology company redefining credit access for main street Americans, today announced the appointment of Ben Probber as General Counsel. The hire comes at a pivotal moment for the company, which recently completed its innovative credit card suite with the launch of its new unsecured card and is now scaling a multi-product platform across its asset-backed and unsecured cards and auto refinance loans. Probber will lead the legal, regulatory, and corporate foundation that makes responsible lending at scale possible for the millions of Americans the financial system has overlooked.

Probber brings deep experience guiding fintechs through the moments that define them – public offerings, complex acquisitions, and the capital facilities that fund growth. His arrival strengthens Yendo’s leadership bench as the company expands its product suite, deepens its bank and capital partnerships, and continues building in one of the most heavily regulated corners of consumer finance.

“Creating powerful and transformative financial tools for main street Americans means building in a heavily regulated space, and doing it right is a competitive advantage, not a constraint,” said Jordan Miller, CEO and co-founder of Yendo. “Ben has been in the room for the moments that matter most to a scaling fintech – taking a company public, closing billion-dollar deals, and standing up the capital partnerships that fund real growth. As we enter a phase of rapid growth, his judgment and experience will be essential to building it responsibly, for the long run.”

Ben Probber joins Yendo from Capchase, a venture-backed fintech delivering embedded financing solutions, where he served as General Counsel on the leadership team and negotiated a $75 million bank warehouse facility while scaling monthly originations fourfold. Prior to Capchase, Probber spent more than four years at MoneyLion – a consumer-finance platform serving many of the same everyday, credit-building Americans Yendo is built for – where as Deputy General Counsel he helped take the company public in a $2.2 billion IPO and through its $1.1 billion-plus sale to Gen Digital, and served as primary attorney on the $440 million acquisition of Even Financial and credit facilities with commitments exceeding $1 billion.

“Serving consumers the financial system has overlooked only works if you earn their trust and keep it – which makes the legal and regulatory foundation core to the product, not a backstop to it,” said Ben Probber, General Counsel of Yendo. “I joined Yendo to help build that foundation as the company scales.”

This appointment comes as Yendo deepens its leadership bench to support its next phase of growth. With Probber leading legal alongside a strengthened executive team, the company is positioned to expand its platform and deliver on its vision of becoming the most trusted financial partner for main street Americans.
