Relationships add advanced AI/HPC infrastructure capabilities and operational intelligence to Mindstream’s energy-backed modular AI platform in Jordan
HOUSTON, TX, UNITED STATES, August 27, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Mindstream, LLC d/b/a Mindstream Energy (“Mindstream”) today announced the expansion of the technology ecosystem supporting its Al-Risha Sovereign AI & Digital Infrastructure Campus in Jordan through strategic relationships with Hypertec HPC & AI and Synestria.
Mindstream has entered into a Strategic Collaboration Framework Agreement with Hypertec HPC & AI and a Letter of Intent with Synestria. These relationships bring capabilities to Mindstream’s AI-first strategy: advanced AI and high-performance computing infrastructure through Hypertec, and operational intelligence and economic optimization through Synestria.
Mindstream is developing Al-Risha as an energy-backed, modular infrastructure platform designed to support Neoclouds, hyperscalers, sovereign entities and other large-scale AI/HPC customers. The campus is being developed around dedicated energy availability and customer requirements, with a pathway to scale toward approximately 400 MW as contracted demand develops.
Mindstream’s strategy is built around a straightforward principle: “Build compute where the energy exists.”
Hypertec: Advanced AI and HPC Infrastructure
Mindstream’s strategic collaboration with Hypertec establishes a framework for evaluating opportunities involving AI, HPC, GPU infrastructure, Sovereign AI, cloud computing, modular AI data centers, advanced cooling, networking and related digital infrastructure.
Hypertec brings experience in high-performance computing, AI infrastructure, systems manufacturing and data center operations, spanning AI and GPU systems, cluster architecture, high-density infrastructure, advanced cooling, integration and lifecycle support.
For Mindstream, these capabilities strengthen Al-Risha’s energy-backed infrastructure model and its ability to configure and deploy modular AI/HPC infrastructure around power, density, cooling, redundancy, and expansion requirements of Neocloud, hyperscale, and sovereign AI customers.
“The next generation of AI infrastructure will require enormous amounts of reliable, cost-effective power,” said Mark F. Thimmig, Chairman and CEO of Mindstream Energy. “Whether a Neocloud, hyperscaler, sovereign entity or large-scale AI/HPC customer, our objective at Al-Risha is to provide the energy-backed infrastructure they need to deploy and scale. We are building around customer demand, bringing dedicated power, modular data centers, high-density cooling, connectivity and expansion capacity together in one location.”
“AI customers increasingly need infrastructure that can scale with both power availability and compute demand. We look forward to exploring how Hypertec’s AI and HPC capabilities can complement Mindstream’s energy-backed platform at Al-Risha and support the requirements of large-scale AI customers,” said Don Schlidt, President, HPC & AI, Hypertec Group
Synestria: Connecting Infrastructure Performance to Economics
Mindstream’s Letter of Intent with Synestria establishes a framework for evaluating deployment of Synestria’s Consequence Intelligence platform at Al-Risha.
Synestria is developing an AI-native intelligence layer creating a unified economic model across power, cooling, network and compute infrastructure. Through its Economic Availability methodology, the platform identifies operational gaps and translates them into measurable economic impact across AI infrastructure.
“Synestria is proud to be part of what Mindstream Energy is building at Al-Risha,” said John Chavner, CEO of Synestria. “Together, we are advancing AI infrastructure that is not only powered and connected, but economically intelligent.”
Energy + Infrastructure + Intelligence
These relationships strengthen the ecosystem Mindstream is assembling around Al-Risha. Hypertec supports the physical AI/HPC environment, while Synestria connects infrastructure performance to measurable economic outcomes.
“Hypertec and Synestria represent complementary parts of the AI infrastructure stack,” Thimmig said. “Combined with Mindstream’s energy-backed model, these relationships strengthen our ability to serve increasingly sophisticated AI customers.”
Mindstream’s strategy is to develop modular infrastructure around contracted customer requirements rather than construct a speculative data center and seek to fill it. Power capacity, density, cooling architecture, connectivity, security, redundancy and expansion pathways can therefore be configured around specific customer requirements.
The Hypertec and Synestria relationships are separate arrangements with Mindstream and do not represent a partnership or commercial relationship between Hypertec and Synestria.
