New integration automatically syncs training certificates and skills into AirData, helping fleet managers track training requirements.
CA, UNITED STATES, November 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — AirData UAV, the system of record for enterprise drone operations, and Pilot Institute, the largest drone training school in the United States, today announced a new integration that automatically synchronizes pilot training records and skills with AirData. The integration allows pilots to maintain their qualifications alongside their flight records while giving fleet administrators greater visibility into their teams’ training and capabilities.
For organizations managing large pilot teams, keeping training records current requires significant administrative work. Pilots have traditionally needed to download and submit certificates after completing courses, while fleet administrators are responsible for collecting documentation and monitoring training requirements. With the new integration, previously earned and newly completed Pilot Institute certificates automatically populate AirData as badges, along with the skills associated with each certification. Pilots and administrators also receive reminders about upcoming expirations, helping them keep qualifications current.
“We’ve automated flight record syncing for years, and we see the same need with pilot certifications,” said Eran Steiner, CEO of AirData UAV. “Pilot Institute has built an excellent training program for drone pilots, and integrating it with AirData makes it easier for organizations to manage qualifications at scale. We’re also automatically extracting the skills pilots have earned, giving fleet managers the information they need to assign the right pilots to the right missions.”
The integration provides fleet administrators and individual pilots with several key capabilities:
• Automatic certificate synchronization: Previously earned and newly completed Pilot Institute certificates are imported directly into AirData as badges, without manual uploads.
• Training progress tracking: Fleet administrators can see which courses pilots have completed and which are still in progress.
• Pilot skills and qualifications: AirData automatically identifies skills associated with completed training, helping administrators review pilot capabilities when preparing to fly.
• Verified training records: Certificates are imported directly from Pilot Institute, giving pilots a reliable record of their training to share with employers and clients.
• Centralized operational records: Training documentation and skills are maintained alongside flight history, aircraft information, and other operational records.
“Our students spend a lot of time earning their certifications and developing their skills. We want that information to be easy for them to access and useful to the organizations they work with, ” said Greg Reverdiau, Co-Founder and Head of Training at Pilot Institute.”AirData is already an important tool for pilots and drone programs managing their flight operations. This integration gives our students a direct way to maintain their training records alongside their flight experience, without the extra administrative work.”
AirData has logged more than 68 million drone flights and serves over 470,000 pilots worldwide. Pilot Institute, the largest drone school in the United States, has trained more than 150,000 Part 107 students.
The Pilot Institute integration is available across all AirData subscription levels, including free accounts. Pilots can connect their Pilot Institute credentials through My Account > Pilot Institute in AirData to automatically import their completed course certificates.
